8th FAOPS 2015 Congress, Bangkok, Thailand
A call for symposia
Dear Colleagues,
As you may have known, Thailand has been honored to host the 8th FAOPS Congress in the year 2015. The Congress will be held on November 22-25, 2015 in Bangkok. The program of the meeting includes plenary lectures by renowned scientists, special lectures by experts on some frontier topics in physiology, symposia on various interesting systems, and debates on some problematic or controversial issues. All scientific sessions will be harmonized under the theme “Translational Physiology: Imagination, Inspiration & Innovation”. In addition, participants will be able to present their interesting research work in both oral and poster sessions.
On behalf of the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) appointed by the Physiological Society of Thailand, I wish to invite you to take part in organizing this congress by proposing a symposium/debate on any aspect of physiological sciences that fits with the theme of the congress. A symposium/debate is a 90 min session and contributed by no more than three speakers. Due to the constraint in our budget, we can provide you only partial supports for the speakers, which include free registration and participations to welcome reception and farewell dinner. If you are interested in contributing to the 8th FAOPS Congress please let me know and provide me with brief bio-sketch of all speakers and the abstract of the proposed symposium/debate in the forms attached herewith. Please be noted that this call for symposia will be closed by December 31st, 2013, and only a limited number of symposia/debate (~20 sessions) that are of current interest and corroborate the theme of the meeting can be accommodated.
Should you have any query concerning the congress and its scientific program, please do not hesitate to let me know. I look forward to hearing from you in the near future.
With best wishes,
Chumpol Pholpramool, Ph.D.
Emeritus Professor of Physiology
Chairman of the LOC, 8th FAOPS Congress
